Ingrédients
  

Crumb Base

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Mango Filling

  • 1 cup ripe mango puree
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, and baking powder. Mix until crumbly.
  • Press half of the crumb mixture into the prepared pan to form the crust.
  • In another bowl, combine mango puree, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until well mixed.
  • Pour the mango mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the filling.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  • Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For an extra touch, add shredded coconut or a drizzle of chocolate on top. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
