Ingrédients
  

Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 egg

Filling

  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 lemon zest freshly grated

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare all ingredients at room temperature.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and egg until smooth and combined.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Gently mix until a soft dough forms. Avoid overmixing.
  • Carefully fold in the blueberries and lemon zest.
  • On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 1 cm (½ inch) thick.
  • Roll the dough tightly from one long edge to form a log.
  • Cut the log into 10 equal rolls and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
  • Cover with a clean towel and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden and puffed.
  • Meanwhile, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth to make the glaze.
  • Drizzle the glaze over warm rolls and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra indulgence, add a spoon of cream cheese to the glaze or sprinkle lemon zest before serving. The dough can be prepared the night before and refrigerated overnight. Frozen blueberries can be used directly without thawing.
