  • 2 cups cooked pasta penne or rotini
  • 1 cup cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup pesto sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, shredded chicken, and pesto sauce.
  • Add softened cream cheese and mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  • Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix again.
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
