Crumble Topping

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and chop the rhubarb into small pieces. Make sure to measure them accurately.
  • In a large bowl, mix the chopped rhubarb, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir until the rhubarb is well-coated.
  • Pour the mixture into your prepared pie crust, spreading it out evenly.

Making the Crumble Topping

  • In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, softened butter, and cinnamon. Mix until crumbly, resembling small pebbles.

Assembly
