  • If using a homemade cookie crust, prepare it from scratch. If store-bought, unpackage and set aside.

Baking the Crust

  • Lightly spray your baking dish with cooking spray. Bake the cookie crust until firm, typically 8-10 minutes.
  • Allow it to cool completely before adding the chocolate layer.

Making the Chocolate Layer

  • Chop dark chocolate into small pieces for even melting.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, combine chopped chocolate with heavy cream. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
  • Carefully pour this chocolate base over the cooled cookie crust.
  • Spread it out evenly across the surface using a spatula.
