Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients: unsweetened shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, dark chocolate chips, coconut oil, and salt.

Making the Base

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and salt. Stir until the coconut is fully coated and the mixture is sticky.

Assembling

  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Press the coconut mixture firmly into the dish to create a flat layer.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the coconut layer and spread evenly with a spatula.

Setting

  • Refrigerate the baking dish for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate has fully set.
