  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Dough and Toppings

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Ensure the chicken is cooked and shredded well, and leave the cream cheese out to soften.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly until creamy and well-combined.

Assembly

  • Open the package of crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Unroll and separate the triangles.
  • Take a spoonful of the creamy chicken mixture and place it at the wide end of each dough triangle.
  • Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal securely.
  • Arrange the filled pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  • Let them cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best results, reheat in the oven.
