- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup vanilla custard (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup honey

Preparation
- Gather all your ingredients. Ensure the butter is melted and the nuts are finely crushed.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Baking Phyllo
- Unroll the phyllo pastry sheets and layer several sheets on your baking tray, brushing each layer generously with melted butter.
- Cut the layered phyllo sheets into squares. Bake them in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes until golden and flaky.
- Allow the phyllo squares to cool on the tray.
Assembly
- Take one phyllo square and spread a generous layer of vanilla custard on top. Place another square on top to create a sandwich. Repeat until all squares are used.
- Drizzle honey over each cookie.
- Sprinkle crushed nuts over the honey.
- Dust the cookies with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
