  • Cheese grater
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Ingrédients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast diced
  • 1 package gnocchi
  • 1 cup Asiago cheese grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups spinach optional, fresh
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients: dice chicken, mince garlic, and grate Asiago cheese. Roughly chop spinach if using.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float to the surface, then drain.
  • Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and combine with the chicken mixture.
  • Add grated Asiago cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  • Incorporate spinach and cook until wilted (2–3 minutes).
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley or extra cheese if desired.

Notes

Use good-quality Asiago cheese for the best flavor. You can substitute chicken with shrimp, turkey, or a vegetarian option like roasted vegetables. For a dairy-free version, replace cream and cheese with coconut cream and a vegan cheese alternative. Avoid overcooking the chicken to keep it tender.
