Ingrédients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1–2 tsp Irish cream liqueur (like Baileys) or vanilla extract (for a non-alcoholic version)
  • 12 oz green candy melts (or white chocolate with green food coloring)
  • Assorted green, white, and orange sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all ingredients. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature until soft.
  • Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse them into fine crumbs, or use a ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with Oreo crumbs until well combined, forming a sticky dough.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up the mixture.

Assembly

  • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into small balls. Place each ball on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate the tray again for 15-20 minutes to help the balls hold their shape.
  • Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to the package instructions until smooth.
  • Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated, and tap off any excess.
  • While the coating is still wet, sprinkle the tops of each truffle with the assorted sprinkles.
  • Allow the truffles to sit at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate coating is completely set.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They can last up to a week. Optional: substitute cream cheese for plant-based alternatives to make them vegan.
