Ingrédients
  

For the Shrimp

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Large shrimp work best for presentation.
  • 2 tbsp honey Can substitute with brown sugar.
  • 1 whole lime, juiced (about 2 tablespoons) Can substitute with lemon juice for different acidity.
  • 1 tsp chili powder Adjust spice level to taste.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Use your preferred seasoning.

For the Yogurt Sauce

  • 1 cup plain yogurt Can substitute with dairy-free yogurt if lactose intolerant.
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and measure them out.
  • Peel and devein the shrimp, then squeeze the lime juice into a bowl.
  • Chop the fresh dill and parsley to ensure everything is ready when you start cooking.

Make the Marinade

  • In a separate bowl, combine honey, lime juice, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.

Marinate the Shrimp

  • Add the cleaned shrimp to the marinade and toss gently to coat. Let them sit for about 10 minutes.

Cook the Shrimp

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and ensure it's hot enough for the shrimp to sizzle when added.
  • Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.

Prepare Yogurt Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix together the yogurt, chopped dill, parsley, minced garlic, and a little salt and pepper.

Serve

  • Transfer the cooked shrimp onto a serving plate and serve warm with yogurt sauce on the side.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat.
