  • 14 ounces chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely minced

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Slice the sausage, peel and dice the sweet potatoes, and cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

Assembly

  • Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly coat it with nonstick spray.
  • Arrange the sliced sausage, diced sweet potatoes, and broccoli florets evenly on the sheet pan.

Make the Glaze

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
  • Let the mixture simmer for about 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Coat and Bake

  • Pour the honey garlic glaze evenly over the sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli on the sheet pan.
  • Toss everything gently to ensure each ingredient is coated.
  • Roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Finishing Touches

  • Check that the sweet potatoes are tender and the sausage is browned.
  • Sprinkle with freshly minced parsley before serving.

Notes
