  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped For garnish and flavor.

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients: mince garlic and ginger, chop green onions, and measure out honey and soy sauce.

Cooking

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground turkey and cook until browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in minced garlic and ginger; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in honey and soy sauce, stirring to coat the turkey.
  • Add black pepper and optional red pepper flakes.
  • Simmer the mixture for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions.
  • Serve over rice, in lettuce wraps, or as desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
