  • Gradually add the honey while mixing on low speed until fully incorporated.
  • Add the powdered sugar one cup at a time, mixing on low speed to avoid a sugar cloud. Incorporate each cup before adding the next.
  • Increase the mixer speed to medium and beat for about 3-5 minutes until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • If the mixture is too thick, add heavy cream one tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract to enhance the flavor.
  • Use the filling immediately or transfer to an airtight container. If storing, refrigerate to keep fresh.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before use. Consider adding flavors like almond extract or citrus zest for variety.
