  • 1/4 cup butter

Preparation

  • Begin by gathering all the ingredients to streamline the cooking process.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Whisk thoroughly.
  • Take each chicken thigh and coat it in the dry mixture until evenly covered.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan over medium heat.
  • Carefully place the coated chicken thighs into the hot oil. Fry for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • While the chicken is frying, melt butter in a separate pan over low heat and stir in honey until well combined.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and drizzle honey butter sauce over each piece.

Serving

  • Serve hot as the main dish or part of a larger meal spread.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to retain crispiness.
