Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Chop the broccoli, slice the bell peppers, and mushrooms.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  • Sauté the minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
  • Add the seasoned steak pieces and cook to desired doneness, about 5-7 minutes for medium-rare.
  • Add broccoli, bell peppers, and mushrooms, and stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  • Pour in the soy sauce, toss everything to combine, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Plate rice first, and top with stir-fried steak and vegetables.
