Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients: halibut fillets, olive oil, lemon, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well-blended.
  • Place the halibut fillets in a baking dish, spaced evenly.
  • Pour the marinade over the fillets, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving warm.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the halibut for an hour before baking. Serve with a lemon wedge for added zest.
