  • 1 cup shredded cheese Use cheddar or Mexican blend.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream For garnish.
  • 1/2 cup guacamole For garnish.
  • 1/2 cup salsa For garnish.
  • 8 pieces taco shells Heart-shaped for serving.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients, including browning your meat and chopping your toppings.

Cooking the Meat

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until it’s browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning and water according to package instructions. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

Shaping Taco Shells

  • Shape the taco shells into hearts using a taco shell mold or a knife.

Assembly

  • Fill each heart-shaped shell with the seasoned ground meat without overfilling.
  • Top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  • Garnish with dollops of sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.

Serving

  • Serve the Heart-Shaped Tacos immediately while they are fresh and warm.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in separate airtight containers for up to 3-4 days.
