  • 12 pieces slider buns Can substitute with gluten-free slider buns
  • 1 lb sliced ham Substitute with unsalted ham or turkey for lower sodium
  • 1 lb sliced Swiss cheese Can be substituted with cheddar or provolone
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted for topping

Seasoning Mixture

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather and measure all your ingredients. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Layer sliced ham evenly over the bottom buns.
  • Top the ham with sliced Swiss cheese.
  • Place the top halves of the slider buns on the cheese.
  • Melt the unsalted butter over low heat and mix in Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Pour the buttery mixture evenly over the top of the sliders.

Baking

  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the tops are golden-brown.
  • Let cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

For an extra touch, consider adding caramelized onions or sautéed mushrooms. Adjust ingredients as necessary for dietary preferences.
