Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and measure them out. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.

Cooking Base

  • In a large heavy saucepan, combine the unsalted butter, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Once boiling, maintain a full boil while stirring constantly for about 4 minutes.

Combine Mixtures

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the white chocolate morsels, marshmallow cream, peppermint extract, and green gel food coloring.
  • After the base has boiled for the set time, remove it from heat.

Blend Together

  • Carefully pour the hot mixture over the white chocolate mixture in the bowl and blend for about one minute until smooth and creamy.

Pour and Chill

  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, ensuring it’s evenly spread out.
  • While the fudge is still warm, sprinkle the top with green sugar and red heart sprinkles, pressing them gently into the fudge.
  • Refrigerate for at least two hours or overnight until it sets completely.

Serve

  • Remove from the refrigerator and lift the fudge out using the parchment edges. Cut into small squares for serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze wrapped tightly for up to three months. A drizzle of dark chocolate can enhance the look and taste.
