Topping Ingredients
- 20 pieces Mint Oreos, chopped into large pieces
- 2 cups White Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1/2 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
- to taste Green Gel Food Coloring For Grinch-inspired look.
- 1/4 cup Red M&Ms For festive flair.
Instructions
Preparation
- Gather all your ingredients and preheat your oven according to the brownie mix instructions, usually around 350°F.
Cook the Base
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions by mixing the brownie mix with water, oil, and eggs.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for the time recommended on the package, usually about 20-30 minutes.
Cool and Prepare Topping
- Let the brownies cool at room temperature after baking.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until melted and smooth.
Add Flavor and Color
- Stir in peppermint extract and a few drops of green gel food coloring until you achieve a vibrant green color.
Assemble
- Pour the green white chocolate mixture evenly over the cooled brownies and spread it smoothly.
- Sprinkle chopped Mint Oreos over the white chocolate layer evenly.
- Add a sprinkle of red M&Ms over the Oreos for additional visual appeal.
Chill
