Preparation

Cooking the Filling

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Season the beef with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper while cooking.
  • Once cooked, remove from heat and place a slice of Cheddar cheese on the beef to melt slightly.

Assembling the Wraps

  • Warm the wheat tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave for about 15-20 seconds.
  • Spread one tablespoon of ketchup and one tablespoon of mustard over each warm tortilla.
  • Spoon the ground beef mixture onto the tortillas, followed by onion rings, tomato slices, and lettuce or arugula.
  • Roll the tortillas tightly from the bottom up.

Grilling the Wraps

  • Lightly oil a grill pan over medium heat and place the wraps seam-side down.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Remove wraps from heat, let cool for a minute, slice in half if desired, and serve warm.
  • Serve with additional ketchup and mustard on the side.
