Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Wash the green apples thoroughly to remove any wax. Slice them thinly for the best infusion into the tea.
  • Boil the 4 cups of water in a pot. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the 2 green tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes to capture all the flavor.
  • After the steeping time is complete, remove the tea bags from the pot. Stir in the 1/4 cup of honey until it fully dissolves.
  • Let the tea cool to room temperature. Once it’s cooled down, pour it into a pitcher for easy serving.
  • Add your sliced green apples to the pitcher of tea.
  • Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let the mixture chill for at least 1 hour.
  • After chilling, prepare your serving glasses. Fill each glass with ice cubes.
  • Finally, pour the chilled Green Apple Iced Tea over the ice cubes. Garnish with additional apple slices or fresh mint leaves if desired.
