Ingrédients
  

Crust

  • 2 cups gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter cubed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Filling

  • 4 medium apples peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients.
  • Combine gluten-free flour and powdered sugar in a bowl. Add cubed cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  • Stir in egg and vanilla extract until dough forms. It should be soft yet slightly crumbly.
  • Press dough evenly into a tart pan, covering bottom and sides.
  • Pre-bake crust for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Toss sliced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and half of the caramel sauce.
  • Arrange apple mixture over pre-baked crust. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce on top.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden.
  • Cool the tart for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

For a vegan version, use flaxseed meal instead of egg and vegan butter. Add chopped nuts or drizzle melted chocolate for a gourmet twist. Store in the fridge up to 3 days or freeze slices for 3 months.
