Ingrédients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 sweet potatoes peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 Tbsp butter melted
  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup or honey if preferred
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon optional
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper optional

Optional Garnish

  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the cubed sweet potatoes in a large baking dish.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss to coat evenly.
  • Roast for 25–30 minutes until tender and lightly golden, stirring halfway through.
  • Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter with maple syrup (or honey) and cinnamon over low heat until smooth and combined.
  • Remove potatoes from the oven and pour the glaze over them. Toss gently to coat all pieces.
  • Return to the oven for another 10–15 minutes until caramelized and glossy.
  • Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

These glazed sweet potatoes are a crowd-pleasing side for turkey, ham, or roasted chicken. Add a splash of orange juice to the glaze for a citrus twist, or sprinkle with chopped pecans before baking for crunch.
