  • 1 lb ground beef The star of the show, providing the meaty base.
  • 1 tsp salt For seasoning the beef.
  • 1 tsp black pepper Adds flavor complexity.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Enhances the garlic flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder Delivers subtle sweetness.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce A flavor booster that adds depth.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Melts beautifully and tastes amazing.

For the Dough and Topping

  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough (about 8 biscuits) The cozy wrap for the filling.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted Adds richness and flavor.
  • 2 tbsp finely minced garlic For that irresistible garlic punch.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a savory finish.
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley For garnish and a touch of freshness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Pre-chop any vegetables and measure out spices to streamline the cooking process.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Use a spatula to break it apart, cooking until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  • Once the beef is cooked, add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine, ensuring the meat is perfectly seasoned.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. Allow it to melt and bind with the beef mixture, creating a luscious filling.
  • Open the tube of refrigerated biscuit dough and roll out each biscuit until they are approximately 1/4 inch thick. This extra space is vital for enclosing the filling properly.
  • Place about 2 tablespoons of the cheesy beef mixture in the center of each rolled-out biscuit. Be generous but careful not to overfill, or they will burst open during baking.
  • Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling. Pinch to seal and form a ball. Make sure the seam is on the bottom to prevent leaking while baking.
  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter with finely minced garlic. This will be brushed over the tops of the bombs for added flavor.
  • Place the seam-side down dough balls on a prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops generously with the garlic butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown. The outside should be crisp, while the inside remains gooey and delicious.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. Allow them to cool for a minute, then serve warm and enjoy the burst of flavors!

Notes

To make these bombs more adaptable, feel free to swap in different cheeses or add vegetables like mushrooms or bell peppers. Great with dips like ranch or barbecue sauce.
