Ingrédients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 medium cucumbers sliced into thin rounds
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt

Instructions

  • Wash cucumbers thoroughly and slice them into thin rounds to allow better flavor absorption.
  • Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves for a vibrant flavor infusion.
  • Chop the fresh dill finely, removing any thick stems.
  • In a large bowl, combine the garlic, dill, water, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Stir until the sugar and salt dissolve completely.
  • Add the cucumber slices to the mixture, ensuring they are fully submerged. Mix gently to coat evenly.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to develop.
  • Serve chilled as a refreshing side dish or snack.

Notes

For a twist, add chili flakes for spice or substitute white vinegar with apple cider vinegar for a tangier flavor. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Avoid freezing to maintain crispness.
