Preparation

  • Clean and organize your workspace. Gather all your ingredients, pots, and pans.
  • Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces.
  • Halve the baby potatoes.
  • Mince the garlic finely.

Cooking the Potatoes

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Add the halved baby potatoes to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and tender.

Seasoning the Steak

  • While the potatoes are cooking, season the steak pieces with salt and pepper.
  • Toss to ensure each bite is well-seasoned.

Finishing the Potatoes

  • Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the skillet and set them aside.

Adding Garlic and Butter

  • Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the same skillet.
  • Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Cooking the Steak

  • Add the seasoned steak bites to the skillet.
  • Cook for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally for an even sear.

Combining Everything

  • Once the steak is cooked, return the cooked potatoes to the skillet.
  • Toss everything to coat in garlic butter.

Garnishing and Serving

  • Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

Make sure to keep the garlic from burning to preserve its flavor. It's best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored properly.
