Ingrédients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless
  • 4 tbsp garlic butter store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Pat pork chops dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes to absorb seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Place pork chops in the skillet and sear for 3–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 145°F / 63°C).
  • Add garlic butter during the last minute of cooking. Baste chops with the melted butter for extra flavor.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra depth of flavor, add a splash of lemon juice or a sprinkle of smoked paprika. Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or rice for a complete meal. Avoid overcooking to keep the pork tender and juicy.
