  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried rosemary
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 cup Beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Preparation

  • Start by organizing your kitchen space and gathering all your ingredients and equipment.
  • Cut the beef stew meat into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Halve the baby potatoes.
  • Optional: Parboil the baby potatoes in lightly salted water for about 5 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the seasoned beef until browned on all sides.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper to create the garlic butter sauce.

Cooking

  • In the slow cooker, add the halved baby potatoes first, followed by seared beef.
  • Pour the garlic butter sauce and beef broth over the top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
  • Let the dish rest for 10 minutes after cooking.

Serving

  • Spoon the Garlic Butter Beef Bites with Potatoes into bowls or onto plates and enjoy!

Notes

This dish is excellent for leftovers and reheating. Avoid overcooking the beef to keep it tender.
