Instructions
Preparation
Gather all your ingredients and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix the brownie mix, vegetable oil, hot coffee, and egg until fully combined.
Baking
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and level it out.
Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until the top feels firm but the inside is fudgy.
Remove from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack.
Shaping and Decorating
Using a football-shaped cookie cutter, cut the brownies into football shapes.
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just about to boil. Pour over the semi-sweet chocolate chips and whisk until smooth to create ganache.
Dip each football brownie into the ganache, letting excess drip off, then place on a wire rack.
Melt the white chocolate chips and pipe laces onto each football brownie.
Allow the brownies to cool completely so the ganache sets before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Brownies can also be frozen for up to three months.
