  • 5-6 drops red gel food dye For festive color swirls.
  • 2 tablespoons candy canes, finely crushed For topping.

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and ensure cream cheese is at room temperature.
  • In a medium bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until silky smooth.
  • Add marshmallow fluff and Cool Whip, and mix for another minute to combine without overmixing.
  • Incorporate peppermint extract and mix gently for flavor.
  • Drizzle red gel food dye and gently fold to create swirls.
  • Scrape down the bowl to mix fully.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.
  • Before serving, sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.

Notes

Store covered in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Can freeze for up to 1 month; thaw overnight before serving. Avoid overmixing to keep the dip fluffy.
