  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine dry wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional, adjust for spice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all ingredients. Peel and devein shrimp, mince garlic, and chop parsley.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
  • Pour in white wine and lemon juice, stirring to deglaze the pan and release flavors.
  • Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce slightly thickens.
  • Serve shrimp and sauce over cooked linguine or pasta, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  • Enjoy immediately while hot with garlic bread or a glass of white wine!

Notes
