Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and pre-measure marinara sauce and cheese slices.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a clean surface and cut into 1-2 inch wide strips.

Building the Roses

  • Spread marinara sauce over each strip of dough, leaving a small border at the edges.
  • Lay mozzarella cheese slices over the sauce, then add pepperoni slices on top.
  • Starting at one end, roll up each strip tightly to form roses and tuck in the ends.
  • Place each pizza rose in the greased muffin tin, arranging them snugly.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
