Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients for smooth preparation.

Cook the Base

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Fold in flour and cocoa powder until just combined.

Spread the Brownie Batter

  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

Prepare the Pecan Topping
