Preparation
Gather all ingredients, rinse the capers under cold water, and mince the garlic cloves.
Season each chicken breast generously with salt and pepper.
Coat each seasoned chicken breast in flour, shaking off any excess.
Cooking
In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and wait until it shimmers.
Carefully place the coated chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and cover to keep warm.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the lemon juice, chicken broth, and capers, scraping the brown bits off the bottom and letting it simmer.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Transfer the chicken to a serving platter, spoon sauce over the top, and garnish with parsley.
