  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces for even cooking. Rinse the broccoli florets and set them aside for later.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the chicken pieces. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until they turn golden brown and are fully cooked through.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  • Toss the broccoli florets into the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring everything together to coat the chicken and broccoli evenly.
  • Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for an additional 5–7 minutes.
  • Once the broccoli is tender, season the dish with salt and pepper according to your taste preference.
  • Serve the Easy Chicken and Broccoli over the cooked rice or quinoa.

Notes

This dish is highly customizable; try adding different vegetables or proteins to suit your taste. For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
