  • 3 pieces eggs Room temperature eggs mix better.
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix Use gluten-free baking mix for a gluten-free version.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For serving

  • Ketchup and mustard Optional condiments to enhance the burger experience.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients before starting the cooking process.
  • Wash and chop the onion finely.

Cooking

  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onion together for about 7-10 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet and stir in garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and Bisquick mix until smooth.
  • Spread the beef mixture evenly into a greased pie dish.
  • Pour the prepared batter over the beef, ensuring it covers the mixture completely.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • Once baked, allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Serving

  • Slice the pie into wedges and serve warm with ketchup and mustard on the side.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days. To reheat, microwave or place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C).
