Ingrédients

Noodle Ingredients
  • 2 cups uncooked egg noodles
Beef Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground beef Use ground turkey or plant-based meat for variations.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour Use gluten-free flour as a substitute if needed.
  • 2 cups beef broth Use vegetable broth for a vegan version.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Préparation

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients: chop the onion, mince the garlic, and measure out your seasonings.
Cooking Noodles
  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente, usually about 7-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Browning Beef
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the lean ground beef and chopped onion. Brown for about 5-7 minutes, breaking up the beef as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Adding Flavors
  1. Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Cook for an additional minute.
Making the Gravy
  1. Sprinkle in the all-purpose flour while stirring constantly, cooking for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
  2. Gradually pour in beef broth, stirring to avoid lumps. Cook for 5-10 minutes until gravy thickens.
Combining
  1. Add the drained noodles back into the skillet, tossing gently with the beef mixture until fully coated.
Final Seasoning
  1. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately, garnished with additional herbs if desired.
