Fruits & Nuts

  • 2 cups chopped apples (any sweet variety) Wash thoroughly and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2 cups halved grapes (red or green) Ensure they are clean and halved.
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Optional; can omit for nut-free option.

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular) Can substitute with dairy-free yogurt.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can substitute with maple syrup for extra sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Prevents apples from browning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash the apples and grapes under cold water.
  • Chop the apples into bite-sized pieces, and remove the cores. Halve the grapes.

Assemble Salad

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples and halved grapes. Stir gently to mix without crushing the grapes.
  • Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the fruit mixture.

Mix Dressing

  • In a separate bowl, combine the plain yogurt, honey, and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth.

Combine & Chill

  • Pour the dressing over the fruit mixture and toss until well coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Serve

  • Serve chilled in individual bowls or on a platter, garnished with extra walnuts or a drizzle of yogurt.

Notes

Avoid overly ripe fruits to maintain texture. Consider adding a pinch of cinnamon to the dressing for added flavor.
