Ingrédients
  

Banana Bread Batter

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • salt a pinch
  • 3/4 cup sugar granulated
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  • Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Stir in the melted butter until fully combined.
  • Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt; mix well.
  • Incorporate the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
  • Gradually mix in the flour until just combined; do not overmix.
  • Fold in optional nuts or chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for best flavor. You can substitute the egg with applesauce for a vegan version, and add cinnamon or nutmeg for extra warmth. This bread freezes well for up to 3 months.
