Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all the necessary ingredients. Slice the onion, mince the garlic, and ensure your pot roast is properly defrosted if it was frozen.
  • Place the pot roast in the crockpot. Pour in the beef broth, and then add the sliced onion and minced garlic. Sprinkle the salt and black pepper over the top.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot with its lid, set it to cook on low, and let it do the work for about 8 hours.
  • After 8 hours, check the pot roast for tenderness by gently pulling it apart with a fork. If it’s not tender enough, give it an extra hour or two.
  • Once the pot roast is tender, use two forks to shred it right in the crockpot and mix it with the cooking juices.

Assembly

  • As the meat cooks, prepare the slider buns by slicing them in half and optionally toasting lightly.
  • Take a generous helping of the pot roast and place it on the bottom half of each slider bun.
  • Top your sliders with your favorite toppings, such as cheese or BBQ sauce.
  • Place the tops of the buns over the filled sliders and serve while warm.

Serving

  • Gather your family and friends around the table. Encourage everyone to customize their sliders as they enjoy.
