Preparation

  • Cut the beef chuck roast into large chunks for even cooking.
  • In a separate bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and black pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the beef chunks in the Crock Pot, ensuring they are spread out evenly.
  • Pour the prepared sauce over the beef, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
  • Cover the Crock Pot and set it to low heat for 6-8 hours.
  • Check the consistency of the sauce and the tenderness of the meat about an hour before it's done.

Serving

  • Once cooking is complete, stir the beef gently in the sauce, sprinkle chopped green onions on top, and serve over rice or in lettuce wraps.

Notes
