Preparation

  • Clean the mushrooms under cool running water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Trim the stems to prepare each mushroom for coating.

Breading

  • In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and the breadcrumb mixture in the third.
  • Dip each mushroom in flour, then beaten eggs, and finally roll in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the coated mushrooms, leaving space between each.
  • Bake the mushrooms for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
