Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.

Slicing and Seasoning

  • Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Baking

  • Arrange potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Adding Toppings

  • Sprinkle cheese between the slices of each potato and return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
  • After the cheese melts, remove from oven and sprinkle bacon bits and green onions on top.
