Shrimp and Coating

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Butter and Seasoning

  • 1/2 cup butter Can be substituted with plant-based butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon lemon

Instructions

Preparation

  • Prepare the shrimp by peeling and deveining if necessary. Measure flour and spices, and mince the garlic and chop the parsley.

Mix the Flour Mixture

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.

Dredge the Shrimp

  • Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture, ensuring full coverage. Shake off excess flour.

Cook the Shrimp

  • Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat until bubbling.
  • Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Carefully add the coated shrimp to the pan without overcrowding. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
