  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for best flavor
  • 3/4 cup half and half Can substitute with whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter Unsalted

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional for heat

Garnish

  • 1–2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped For garnish

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients, measure out ground beef, chop the onion and garlic, and grate the Parmesan cheese.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and crumbled, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat from beef.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika. Cook for another minute.
  • Add butter to the skillet. Once melted, pour in beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer for about 3–4 minutes.
  • Boil water in a separate pot and cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Stir in half-and-half and Parmesan cheese into the skillet, mixing until the sauce is creamy.
  • Season sauce with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes according to taste. Stir for 2–3 minutes.
  • Add the drained bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. To freeze, use a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Reheat gently with a splash of milk or broth.
