Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients: chop the garlic, grate the parmesan, and measure out the heavy cream.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cooking the Pasta

  • Add the bowtie pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain the pasta and set it aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef and brown it, breaking it up as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and allow it to come to a simmer.
  • Gradually add the parmesan cheese while stirring continuously until well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combining

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and gently toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.
  • Transfer to serving plates and garnish with chopped parsley.
