  • Gather all your ingredients. Trim the green beans.

Cooking Green Beans

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the trimmed green beans. Blanch for about 3 to 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.

Preparing the Base

  • In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Stir well until mixed thoroughly.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the blanched green beans to the soup mixture and stir gently to coat them evenly.

Baking

  • Pour the mixture into a prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the French fried onions over the top.
