Ingrédients

Filling

  • 12 large mushrooms stems removed
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushrooms and remove their stems carefully.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and well-blended.
  • Stuff each mushroom cap with the crab mixture, pressing slightly to fill the space completely.
  • Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden and bubbly.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes, garnish with extra parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, replace the crab meat with artichoke hearts or sautéed vegetables. You can prepare the stuffed mushrooms in advance and refrigerate them until ready to bake. For added flavor, sprinkle extra Parmesan or a pinch of smoked paprika before baking.
